Adam Healthcare Center — Health for All, Hope for Every Heart

Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 Oct 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Adam Healthcare Center ("we", "us") collects, uses, protects and shares personal information through this website and the patient portal. We are at Ali Plaza, Park Road, Lane No. 10, Hostel City, Islamabad, Pakistan. We respect the privacy, dignity and confidentiality of our patients.

The rules we follow

Adam Healthcare Center is a healthcare establishment in the Islamabad Capital Territory, where healthcare establishments are regulated by the Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) under the Islamabad Health Regulation Act, 2018. We are committed to meeting the registration, licensing and minimum service delivery standards that apply to us, including those that protect patients' privacy and records.

We handle personal information in line with the laws of Pakistan that apply to us, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, and with the duty of confidentiality that every healthcare provider owes its patients. If a data-protection law applies to us now or in the future, we will follow it and update this policy.

What we collect

  • Appointment requests: your name, phone number, your email if you give one, the doctor or service you ask for, your preferred date and time, and any message you write.
  • Contact messages: your name, your email or phone number, a subject and your message.
  • Job applications: your name, email, phone number, cover letter and CV if you send one.
  • Patient portal accounts: your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and the other details you choose to add (address, emergency contact). We also keep your appointment requests made through the portal and the reports the centre chooses to share with you.
  • Technical information: the time of each request, and the address and browser details of the device, kept to keep the site secure and to investigate misuse.

Please do not write your medical history or test results in a web form. You can share those with our staff in person.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to you, to arrange and confirm appointments, to run your patient portal account and check who you are, to consider job applications, to keep our services safe and well run, and to meet legal and regulatory obligations.

Personal, medical and diagnostic information is handled responsibly and accessed only for appropriate healthcare, administrative or legally required purposes.

Your agreement

We ask you to tick a box to agree before you send a request or create an account. You can withdraw your agreement by contacting us, although we may need to keep some records where the law, a regulator or professional standards require it.

Who can see it

Only authorised staff who need the information for their work can see it, and access is limited by role. Reports in the patient portal are shown only to the patient they belong to, after the centre has confirmed who the account holder is and a member of staff other than the person who uploaded the report has checked it.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We may share it with:

  • companies that help us run the website, such as hosting and email delivery, who may use it only to provide that service to us;
  • IHRA, other authorities, courts or professional bodies, when the law requires or a lawful request is made;
  • another healthcare provider, when you ask us to or when it is needed for your care.

How long we keep it

We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and for as long as the law, a regulator or professional standards require us to keep it (for example for patients' records). Website enquiries and unsuccessful job applications are not kept longer than necessary.

How we protect it

The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), password protection with sign-in limits, access that depends on a person's role, private storage for documents that is not reachable by a public web address, and a record of who opened or downloaded sensitive information. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password private and tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.

Cookies

We use only the cookies the site needs to work, such as the one that keeps you signed in. See our Cookies & Consent page.

Children

The patient portal is for adults. A parent or guardian should manage a child's information, and may make requests for a child.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to stop using it to contact you. You can ask us to delete it, and we will do so where we are allowed to; we must keep some health records for the period the law and professional standards require.

Questions and complaints

Please contact us first, using the details on the Contact & Location page, and we will do our best to put things right. If you are not satisfied, you may also raise a concern about a healthcare establishment in Islamabad with the Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (ihra.gov.pk), which has a complaints process.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.

Your Health. Our Commitment.
